Happy 7th Birthday, Hannah!

To our sweet Hannah,

You truly are such a sweet spirit.  You play so well with all three of your siblings, looking up to Clara and leading both Eliza and Isaiah in all your games.  You are the one that both Eliza and Isaiah go to for comfort, and you are always quick to wrap your arms around them and snuggle them.  You are determined and strong, and have shown an absolute love for gymnastics this year.  Your very first session, the coach told us to start saving our money!  You have a natural way of flipping through the air and quickly learn new skills each week.  You spend most days in a gymnastic leotard, usually hanging from your bar or upside down on a mat in the playroom!  You love to be first with the news (just like your mommy) and can entertain any group of kids with make-believe fun.  You have a quiet, sweetness about you and don't often beg for our attention, but will slide up next to us for a hug without a word.  We love you more than you'll ever know, sweet girl!!!! Happy birthday!



Dress-up days....

I asked Clara to fold the towels today, and when I came out to check, she had this maid costume on that she had put together!

 She is such a funny, creative kid.  She is constantly dressing up as different characters!

 All three girls got into my closet to borrow shirts this afternoon.  They each gave me a pose for the camera, with Isaiah not wanting to be left out!

Happy Halloween!!

We had a fun playgroup Halloween party with some of Eliza and Isaiah's friends.  Clara and Hannah helped out so much with the crafts and games.  Here is Isaiah, hanging out with his friends Sam, Everton and Jackson.....The girls spent more time at the table coloring and doing crafts, while the boys had fun with cars!

 Clara picked out a complicated design for her pumpkin, then watched patiently as Daddy carved the whole thing!  Very true to this one's personality....she is all about the creative, fun ideas, then likes to sit and watch someone else do the work ;)

 Heading out to trick-or-treat with our friend, Asher...we had last minute costume changes earlier that morning by Clara and Hannah.  That makes two years in a row for Clara changing her mind on Halloween.

American Girl adventure with grandma

Grandma took the girls and their dolls to the American Girl store to pick out a new outfit.  They had so much fun choosing something for their dolls! Eliza found a soccer outfit, Hannah found a gymnast suit with a gold medal for her doll to wear, and Clara found a fashionable artist outfit for her doll.  Isaiah was more than happy to kick the tiny soccer ball from Eliza's outfit all over the store and outside!

 Clara had some of her own money to use for a spa clean for her doll...

Eliza still LOVES to cook with me!  She picked out a recipe from her kid cookbook and got all ready in her chef outfit!

 Our first colder afternoon was met with snowsuits, boots, and hats! These girls are excited to see some snow hopefully this winter! Isaiah with a goofy pose on his bike....his bike and his Seahawk jersey are every day favorites!

 Lizzie had a quick surgery to get her tubes out of her ears.  She was such a sweet patient, and the nurse said she walked back to the OR like she does this every day!  She was looking forward to this morning away with mommy all by herself.....she didn't even care that it was for surgery! :)

 Hannah taught herself how to do a back handspring this summer!  She is a natural gymnast!

 

 Isaiah had fun on our neighbor's balance bike for a few days and then took off on a two-wheeler at two and a half!  He immediately went for every bump and pinecone he could find to ride over and loves to start at the top of our hill so he can go really fast!  He is too much like his Uncle Tommy :/

 Clara's constant creativity is found all over the house.  She created a homemade coffee pot for her American girl doll, complete with water filter and coffee filter inside....
