I've been wanting to write down some fun things about Eliza Jo at 18 months, but keep getting sidetracked. It has been so fun to see her funny personality developing. This kid is such a goofball, loves playing a joke or making us laugh, and can be the most stubborn, defiant little thing I've ever known!! She has grown up so quickly, and she is no longer our "baby". She is definitely one of the big kids now and is not to be left out in anything! Her sisters both adore her, and she knows it :)
Eliza loves combing her hair and putting headbands on (she's been watching Hannah do this lately!) She also will get into the "accessory drawer" and come out with multiple necklaces and bracelets. She loves to try on everyone's shoes and walk around the house in them, and will also go get each person their pair of shoes and put them in front of us when it is time to go somewhere.....insisting that we immediately put them on!
She's talking like crazy, but still has trouble with most of her sounds. Some of her favorite things to say are "I do it myself" "Mama (or dada) I'm all done!" "What's that?" "I go with you" "I want juice" or "I want chocolate milk" "I love you" "thank you" and "I'm sorry" (only when we tell her she needs to say it)! She started singing recently, usually in the car to whatever song is playing. She has the syllables down perfectly, but sort of hums along. She is quite the entertainer, and usually keeps her sisters awake at bedtime by doing silly things in her crib and making them laugh. She loves to run up and down the hallway, and seems to run everywhere these days. She adores her Daddy and almost always asks for him to hold her. Daddy gets up with her in the mornings and plays with her while she drinks her chocolate milk (we're still working on switching to plain milk!) Eliza loves to take something from us and then take off running in the other direction. If you ask for it back, she will shake it back and forth saying, "Na, na, na, na". We are enjoying her so much.....when she isn't being stubborn!

Eliza LOVES the monkey (or Ah-Ahs), and she stood and watched this one until they had to drag her away!
Hannah's favorite stop...By this time Eliza had pooped through her outfit and spent the rest of the afternoon, running around the zoo in a diaper and jacket!
