She's riding!!

Clara is riding a bike now! She practiced for about a week on our little balance bike until she got really good at coasting along and balancing on the two wheels. Our good friends brought an extra bike over for Clara to use and within the first couple of tries, Joe was able to let go and run alongside her...

And on her second day practicing, she took off within minutes, riding up the street, turning around and heading back down! She still needs a little bit of help to get started, but I'm sure she'll have that part down soon... Coming around the circle...

We are LOVING getting to be outdoors again!!!

Big girl monkey bed!

Eliza Jo moved into a big girl bed over the weekend, and loves it! She has woken up a few times during the night, hopefully just getting used to the new bed, but so far has loved her new bed and hasn't made any ventures out of the room at bedtime yet....we'll keep our fingers crossed!!

LOTS of Isaiah...

Isaiah is full of smiles right when he wakes up in the morning and from his naps! Sweet chubby cheeks! They are SO kissable!!!

I weighed him this week at the doctor, and at 10 weeks old, he is 12 lb, 1 oz! He has so many funny expressions these days.....here are LOTS of pictures for Aunt Heidi and Nana....

Who does he look like??

Joe and I had fun going through old pictures last night....we found our Europe trip, and we looked like two young kids trekking around Europe! It's amazing how having children and sleepless nights ages you....We also went back and looked at each of the kids at 2 months of age to compare the baby pictures with Isaiah. Most people say that he looks like Eliza, and I agree, but when we found Clara's baby pictures at 2 months, he looks a lot like her too! His eyes are similar to Eliza, but the face shape is like Clara...

Happy Spring!

This week marked the official beginning of spring, and the weather has cooperated by bringing us some sunshine along with the rain! The cherry blossom trees are blooming, and we have some beautiful yellow daffodils on the table! I'm SO thankful that we were able to get outside these past few days with sick kids. Clara has been practicing on the balance bike, and we've been amazed at how she went from barely balancing, to making it down the entire way from the stop sign and around the cul-de-sac without putting her feet down once! She's hoping to be riding a two-wheeler bike soon!

Eliza was feeling well enough to join her yesterday, and they had fun starting at the top of the hill by the stop sign, and cruising down the street!
Eliza is still a tiny bit too short to reach the pedals, but with a blanket behind her, she was able to race around!

Our sweet neighbor, Spencer, hung out with us and took these pictures. The girls adore him, and he is so sweet to them!

I got to enjoy this precious face this morning while drinking my coffee! I love having a few quiet moments with this little guy before his sisters wake up...

A cute sneeze!

Those smiles were such a great start to the morning! We've had an awful flu virus at our house since last week with Eliza and Hannah getting really sick. Sweet Eliza spent an afternoon at Children's getting IV fluids and has lost almost 3 pounds since Thursday. She's almost back to normal now, stubborn as ever! Here are my two sleepy babes...

I found a picture frame before I was pregnant with Isaiah, that had the verse "The Lord rejoices in all he has made" Psalm 104:31, printed on it. I immediately pictured my children's faces in the openings, but the only problem was that it had 4 openings, and we had 3 children.....I bought it anyway because I just wasn't quite sure our family was complete, and one year later, I've been able to fill those 4 openings in the frame with these 4 beautifully made faces!
