Camping in the rain...

We planned a camping trip with the Gilberts for June, somehow forgetting that Seattle doesn't get sunshine until July :(  The first day was pretty decent weather, and the kids had a great time playing together outside, riding the "racecars" and going on a hay ride...

 We had a fun campfire/barbeque roasting s'mores and then tucking the kids in so the adults could chat around the fire....and eat more s'mores!

 But nighttime brought rain....and it continued until we packed up our soggy stuff the next day.  We spent the morning huddled under our shelter, and I have to admit that I made a Starbucks run for mochas ;)  Next summer, we'll plan for July!!
