Happy 3rd Birthday, Hannah!!

Hannah turned 3 today! There have been times these past few weeks that she just seems older...something she says, or some look she gives us tells us we're starting another year!

Hannah still loves everything princess! She used to wear her Princess Aurora dress constantly, and now is wearing this Cinderella one. She got new Aurora and Cinderella dresses for her birthday because the other ones were tearing because she wore them so often!
She is suddenly very into combing and styling her hair and will sometimes spend a LONG time at the bathroom sink adding water to her hair to "style" it. Then she comes out to ask, "How do I look, Mommy?" or "Do I look beautiful now?" She continues to be incredibly feisty and competitive at times (which we are hoping she will channel into sports some day!), but can also be incredibly sweet and thoughtful and frequently tells us that she "loves the whole family!" She and Clara are the best of friends and play for hours together in their pretend worlds. Hannah is at a stage now where she contributes as much to the play as Clara does, although Clara is usually pretending some romance between a prince and princess and Hannah's princess is trying to escape from the big dragon! If you need something done quickly, Hannah is the one to ask. She only moves at a run, and is always quick to get you what you need (must have something to do with that competitive spirit!) She loves to have Mommy or Daddy snuggle her in her bed at night and gives the very best bear hugs! We love you, Hannah!!!
