Aunt Julie and Teanne were visiting for the holiday, and everyone walked in the kids parade together...
Eliza was lulled to sleep on Daddy's back...
and slept through most of the parade!
The weather did not cooperate for the weekend, and it was pretty cold outside, but that didn't stop us from sharing a yummy shaved ice while we watched the rest of the parade!
We met up with our friends, the Smiths, and were treated to some Lake Washington Kangaroo cheers and softball cheers from the hometown girl :) I think the dads just caught site of the "bikini float" in this picture-advertising for a tanning salon! I'm sure those girls were freezing!!
Later that afternoon, we had an outdoor barbeque planned with friends, but the pouring rain that started around 4 pm kept us all indoors....3 families of ALL girls(missing the 2 babies crawling around)!!!

We skipped fireworks this year....too cold!!!
