Our not-so-baby boy turned two!! Isaiah is a delight and joy. He is energetic, fast-moving, feisty and can throw an amazing throw-himself-facedown-on-the-floor tantrum. He is also super cuddly, gives amazing hugs and will let me snuggle and sing to him, is quick to say "I sorry" or give a kiss if he thinks he hurt someone, and is quick to give someone else a turn with a toy (most of the time!) He delights in Daddy coming home from work and being included in any game with his sisters. He loves to be helping me, and has claimed the step stool from Eliza to join me in the kitchen with anything I am doing. He LOVES all things ball and car. He tells us if it is a soccer ball, baseball, football, or basketball, and loves them all! He knows the difference between his Seahawk and Husky jerseys and will bring them out saying "Go, Seahawks!" or "Go, Huskies!" If Daddy is dressing him, he's always wearing a jersey ;) He points out any construction vehicle or "woo, woos" as he calls fire trucks, ambulances or police cars. He loves to play outside, jump on the trampoline, and still loves to take a bath! He's talking so much now, and we love to hear what he has to say. His sisters usually can tell what he's saying before me! Hannah is still his second mommy, and puts him down for his nap or to bed at night when we have a babysitter. Lizzie is starting to really enjoy teaching him things, and a special treat is when she invites him up onto her bed at bedtime and sings songs with him. Isaiah loves to sing and can sing along to lots of our bedtime songs. Clara can keep him occupied for an hour with her pretend play with the Little People house and barn, and Isaiah just loves her! He's still Daddy's "Big Man" and fortunately he's looking like he might make it to 6 ft, as he is now between the 75-90%ile for height and 27 lbs. We can't imagine our life without the addition of this adorable little guy and are so thankful for the blessing of a boy two years ago!
Celebrating with best friends and his birthday buddy, Emma :)
Isaiah got to celebrate earlier in the week at a new indoor playground with friends Audrey and Jack!
We decided to make it a real pary, and the kids got donuts after playing!
Happy Birthday, sweet Buddy!!!
