Crater Lake is a 2 hour drive from Bend, so we set out early yesterday morning with Nana, Boppa, Aunt Julie, and Teanne. We filled all 8 seats in the minivan, with Teanne lying on the floor in the middle row! We were planning on a short hike, but the mosquitos were swarming us the first time we got out of the car. We opted for a great lunch at the lodge, and relaxed on the deck, enjoying the view instead.
Crater Lake is absolutely gorgeous! There was still enough snow up there for the girls to have a snowball fight!
This would have been a great family photo, except that my dad seemed to have trouble fitting Hannah into the picture! oops!
